Remembering grandpa Jay and grandma Zelda

This memorial day I couldn't help but think "I wish grandma and grandpa hill could have met Dawson " then it hit me- they probably spent everyday with him and sent him down to me with a kiss and told him to be good! I miss them both so much and I know they're watching over all of us working hard to prepare for when we all come home!
We started out memorial day with homemade blueberry pancakes. Dawson LOVED them! We then had both sides of the family over for a nice BBQ and enjoyed each others company.
Then Dawson, my mom, and I went to visit graves. I'm thankful for the family grandma and grandpa started and I hope they're proud of what has come from them.

What a crazy sleeper I have! I only have some pics but there have been so many different ways that this little dude falls asleep! It's just makes me smile.

My first Mothers Day!

My very first mothers day was a wonderful day! I spent the whole day with my two favorite boys! We had a day full of family BBQ's and bike rides. My mothers day gift was given to me early- I love my bike cart! I take Daws everywhere in it! But Sunday morning my great husband gave me a beautiful card, Dawson let his mommy sleep in and greeted me with a smile!
Being a mother has changed my life and it is really hard sometimes... But that little miracle makes my heart smile everyday. What an amazing gift Heavenly Father blessed me with and he's just the most adorable lil man. I have a very blessed life and my husband works very hard to be a great provider and husband and lets me be a stay at home mommy- something that has been a dream of mine forever.
All in all mothers day was a great success!

Feeding Lady :-)

Tonight we took Daws out to meet Lady and feed her. He wasn't to thrilled about her... But she loved him! Mostly because we had carrots :-) it will be cute when he gets older and can feed her himself.

It's been to long!

Well thanks to my awesome cousin for motivating me to get on it- I am back! I have been such a slacker- the last time I posted I was prego and now he's 9 months!! It is so crazy how time flies and passes you by without you knowing! I need to start sharing Dawsons adventures! We have a lot of fun!
Today we went biking up at a place called warm river. It was uphill and a bumpy dirt trail and HOT --but we did it! Daws was do good till the end of the ride when he got tired so I unbuckled him and he snuggled up! It was great exercise and a lot of fun for us both! Thank goodness for the pull cart! We love our new toy!
